Coffee from Rwenzori is grown on fertile, volcanic soil. This is a collection of coffee from small-holder producers in the region. The cherries are selectively picked and brought to the processing station on the same day. It is then separated by floatation and put onto drying tables. The coffee is then dried for 21 to 35 days. Once it is ready, the dried cherries are then brought to Kampala for milling and export processing. Coffee is typically harvested here from September to December.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eWHY WE SELECTED THIS COFFEE\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne of the first coffees we released back in 2020 when we were roasting small batches for friends was a natural-process Uganda.
